About 3 months ago was when I first heard of the iPhone. I watched Steve Jobs introduce the iPhone at Macworld. I saw some videos about what this thing can do. And I must say, I was hooked.
But is this phone really worth the hundreds of dollars? Well, yes it is. Even though this phone has a few blemishes, it really is a "revolutionary" phone. It can do what nothing else can. After being on the Edge network for almost a year I must say its not as fast as my desktop, but it is impressive for a mobile phone. The network and the operating system works together to create a fast and rich internet capability.
But does this phone live up to the hype? Well, yes it does. After watching the commercials and the announced abilities of this phone, I was very skeptical about whether this was the actual phone or the editing engineers. But once I was able to try some of those tasks on the real thing, I was even more impressed about what it can do. Although there are a few things that I think should be altered, this phone surpasses anything on our market.
This phone really is a revolutionary product, but I was still slightly disappointed about some of the features that Apple failed to put in on their first generation phone. To me, Apple has always seemed to be an innovative company. If they added some extra features to the already powerful device, this product would really be, by far, the best thing on the market. Some of the things I would have liked to see, is the ability to be able to few Flash, have a text editor such as Word, be ichat capable, and I would have loved to be able to have the iTunes interface on the phone. These small things would have made this phone a must-have with no objections.
The one thing I hate about Apple, is how and when they deliver their products. As with the iPod, the 2nd generation, far surpassed the first model. I always like to have the best technology out there, right when it comes out. But, with apple, I know that if I wait a few months, there will be a much better product. This goes with any technology. This type of sales, is great business, but very frustrating to the consumer.
This iPhone really is the best new thing. The little blemishes that it has are most likely going to be fixed by the 2nd generation. If you can wait, WAIT!! But as for my I'll be texting away on my new iPhone.

Immigration, Lets Start with Mexico
If you turn on the news at any given time, there is a very likely chance that you will hear something about immigration. Because I fail at being God, I don't have a simple sentence answer to illegal immigration. But I will start by sharing my views about illegal immigration starting with Mexico.
The obvious place where this immigration problem starts is in Mexico. People in Mexico obviously can not find jobs so they come to the U.S. In an ideal situation, Mexico will agree to follow Americans lead, and establish a thriving economic system. Unfortunately, Mexico doesn't put the same amount of energy and pressure onto this issue as Americans do.
But, even if Mexico will start producing more jobs, they will never offer the same opportunities as the U.S. The U.S. is a very prosperous country and the opportunities found here, can not be matched by many other countries(if any). Just getting the Mexicans to grow their economy will only solve a small portion of the problem.
Mexico can however become more aware of this problem and take appropriate action. The past in a nut shell, Mexico threatened to sue members of the Minuteman project who did so called illegal actions against the mirgrants.

I believe that those "illegal" actions are anything but, fortunatly that is a topic in itself and it won't be written about here. This type of action by Mexico is an obstacle to the progress of finding a solution to immigration.

The First
Throughout life, people do things that they will remember for the rest of their lives. I remember the first time I went to the beach. I jumped in the water thinking I could swim. I couldn't, and I almost drowned. I remember my first kiss, even after countless attempts to forget. Now I will remember July 5, 2007 as the first time I made a post on my blog. Well, it's not that serious, but I do feel rather proud I joined the bandwagon after endless encounters of "blog" propaganda.
My intentions for this blog are mainly to compose my opinions about seemingly important topics and also totally irrelevant topics which I may find interesting, dogmattic, or completely pointless. I also want to gather comments, opinions, and questions from people that have strong emotions towards my writing. I would love to have an arguement with you. So long till my next real first post.
